First we take Berlin!
On the occasion of launching “The Avant/Garde Diaries”, fashion icon Raf Simons presented “Transmission1” – our three-day avant-garde festival that took place from July 15th to 17th in the Berlin Congress Center on Alexanderplatz. The event followed the same idea as our digital interview magazine. In this case, we asked Raf Simons: Who or what do you consider ahead of time or in other words avant-garde? The result was amazing! Under the direction of curator Raf Simons eleven artists presented their take on today’s and tomorrow’s world. - A mix of inspiring people and pioneers. Particularly the dance performance of the Michael Clark Company blew everyone away. Other highlights were Goose, These New Puritans and of course Fischerspooner, who performed twice during the festival. All in all, we are very proud of the event and enjoyed working with these artists.
